Ko Taupô te Moana

Ko Pâkira te Tangata

Ko Tûtemohuta te Iwi

Tihei Mauriora

How do I connect my blood to the land, my soaring spirit from the peaks of Tauhara to the bathing waters of my elders at Rotongaio, at Waitahanui and Taupo.  I look to the backbone of my Tupuna, Pâkira, his open arms. His is the call of welcome, come everyone, come close.
